Questions

What is the advantage of hiring a personal chef service?
The meals are prepared specifically to your own tastes and preferences. The cost represents all of the components that make up a professional personal chef service: the assessment meeting, menu planning, selection and approval, grocery shopping, careful preparation of the meals, safe and appropriate packaging with labels and heating instructions, and clean up of your kitchen. If you have a personal chef service, you will be able to enjoy a delicious entrée in the comfort of your own home.

Am I obligated to continue using the service?
You are not obligated in any way to using Dinner Works Personal Chef Service on a long-term basis. Of course, my ultimate hope is that you will be so satisfied with your culinary experience and the convenience that you will want me to cook for you again and again!

How should I prepare for the cooking day?
On your cooking day, your kitchen counters need to be cleared (of anything other than small appliances normally there) and clean. Your stove, oven, refrigerator should be in working order. Space will be needed in the refrigerator to store groceries until they are prepared. The freezer should have plenty of room to store several meal’s worth of containers and side dishes.

Do I need to be home on the cooking day?
You can be but do not need to be home on your cooking day. When we book your cooking day, we will discuss house entry, pet arrangements and other specifics I need to know.

How long will you be at my house?
I will be cooking many different entrees and side dishes from scratch. Usually a cooking day takes several hours after arriving at your house. Every effort is made to be through and cleaned up before the end of a business day.

Are you insured?
I have full liability insurance. In addition, I have certification in food safety and sanitation.
